Community Spotlight

These folks are putting in the time and energy to help those of us who need help.

Lois Curtis Center

The Lois Curtis Center advocates for disabled populations in Topeka/SNCO, and offers very many services to the local population in our Central Highland Park area.

From a Community Garden, to training, and workforce development, these advocates are filling the gaps and helping our local residents succeed!

Mirror Inc.

Mirror has been operating just east of Central Highland Park on SE 25th street, offering addiction, mental health, and behavioral health services for our loved ones and neighbors struggling to help themselves.

Sometimes, you need more than just positive thinking on your own, and Mirror has been a strong organization to help folks along their life paths.

The Gil Carter Initiative provides education and teaching of various kinds to children of multiple backgrounds and income levels.
